JEREZ BODEGA DAY OUTING The day outing to the Tio Pepe Bodega (Gonzalez Biass) in Jerez was an outstanding success, thoroughly enjoyed by all 20 members. Photos of the visit can be seen in the Newsletter page.
EXTRA-ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING - BRANCH RULES We are pleased to inform you that the draft rules of the Branch together with the new logo have been unanimously approved at the EXTRA-ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING of the Branch held on the 11th March, 2010. As there is only a very minor amendment to the draft rules we originally emailed earlier this month, we are not going to send any further copies. However, if you still require a copy with the said amendment, this may be collected at the Branch premises. On the other hand, you only need to delete clause 34.5 under VISITORS as this clause was a repetition of clause 34.2. Many thanks for you co-operation and understanding in this matter.
CONDOLENCES Our sincerest condolences goes to Member Russell Harding and his famly on the sad death of Russell's father Vernon. Our love and best wishes goes to the Harding family.
FINAL REMINDER - YOUR PHOTOS & DVDS CAN NOW BE COLLECTED Photos that you ordered and paid for are now available at the club house. Please also note that the DVDs of Sir Alex Ferguson's visit are now ready for collection. (the Chairman has had a preview of the DVD and he says, "it is excellent and a must buy for all United members, it runs for 1 hour & 14 minutes"). Orders are still being received for this special DVD at £10 a copy. The branch will no longer be held responsible for any missing/damage photos/DVDs after the 31st December 2009.
CLUB HOUSE OPENING DAYS/HOURS > Mondays Closed > Tuesdays Closed > Wednesdays Opened as from 6:00pm > Thursdays Opened as from 6:00pm > Fridays Opened as from 6:00pm > Saturdays Opened as from 12:00pm > Sundays Opened as from 12:00pm Please note that if there is a televised United match on the Monday or Tuesday, the club will open as normal, and Thursday will then be the closing date. If there is a lunchtime kick-off the club will open at least 2 hours before the match.
MEMBERSHIP We are pleased to inform the members that we have now reached the 618 mark in registered members for the season 2009/2010. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ANOTHER POSSIBILITY OF TICKETS FOR OLD TRAFFORD There will be at different times a further possibility of obtaining 2 tickets to United's home games, apart from the usual Branch requests. This is as a result of an arrangement between the Branch and one of our members who is a Season Ticket Holder. It must be noted that a request for this tickets must be made 2 weeks at least before the game, and therefore this arrangement is only suitable for those members that do not require a long period of notice to travel to Manchester. It must be noted that these tickets are not guaranteed and will not be available for all games. For normal ticket requests a 7 week notice period is required.
