| Club Events Social Events JEREZ BODEGA DAY OUTING The day outing to the Tio Pepe Bodega (Gonzalez Biass) in Jerez was an outstanding success, thoroughly enjoyed by all 20 members. Photos of the visit can be seen in the Newsletter page.
EXTRA-ORDINARY GENERAL MEETING At the Extraordinary General meeting held on 29th January, 2010 to discuss the Draft Rules of the Branch, it was agreed that some late proposals for amendments should be considered and, where appropriate, incorporated within a fresh draft. An Extraordinary General Meeting will be held on Thursday 11th March, 2010 at 7:30pm in the Branch premises for this purpose. This is a key matter for the Branch which will affect all current and future members. In the circumstances, we would urge you to make every effort to attend and participate in the discussion.
Condolences Our sincerest condolences goes to Member Russell Harding and his famly on the sad death of Russell's father Vernon. Our love and best wishes goes to the Harding family. CARLING CUP FINAL Congratulations goes to Jane & David Tickle who were the luckly winners of the draw for the 2 tickets for the Carling Cup Final between United and Aston Villa. We wish them a great game and obviously a United win and a safe journey.
FINAL REMINDER YOUR PHOTOS & DVDS CAN NOW BE COLLECTED Photos that you ordered and paid for are now available at the club house. Please also note that the DVDs of Sir Alex Ferguson's visit are now ready for collection. (the Chairman has had a preview of the DVD and he says, "it is excellent and a must buy for all United members, it runs for 1 hour & 14 minutes").
