Manchester United followers on the Rock. This year is the 16th Anniversary of the MANCHESTER UNITED SUPPORTERS GIBRALTAR BRANCH with current membership around the 400 mark. The Branch will shortly be moving to new premises of their own. These premises are in the centre of town, in the area of Wellington Front. An upsurge of new supporters is expected this year due to the new premises and the historical visit of Sir Alex Ferguson on the 10th August 2009 to inaugurate the premises. A Gala Dinner is also going to be organised at a very well known venue to mark the occasion. The Branch is a non-profitable entity and is administered by a committee which is elected at Annual General Meetings. The committee presents to the membership a set of annual accounts for approval by the membership and which are audited by Baker Tilly, professional accountants. The Branch is fully registered and recognised by the Manchester United Football Club. THE CLUB IS SMOKE FREE! Founded: 1993
