Manchester United followers on the Rock. This year is the 16th Anniversary of the MANCHESTER UNITED SUPPORTERS GIBRALTAR BRANCH with current membership around the 600 mark. The Branch has now obtained premises of their own at Wellington Front, in the City Centre. These new premises were officially inaugurated on the 10th August, 2009 by non other than Sir Alex Ferguson in the presence of the Branch’s Patron the Hon. Peter. R. Caruana, Chief Minister of Gibraltar. Other notable visitors in the Inauguration Ceremony were Bryan Robson, Mike Phelan and Barry Moorhouse. A Gala Dinner was organised at St Michael's Cave to mark this special occasion in the Branch's history. The Branch is a non-profitable entity and is administered by a committee which is elected at Annual General Meetings. The committee presents to the membership a set of annual accounts for approval by the membership and which are audited by Baker Tilly, professional accountants. The Branch is fully registered and recognised by the Manchester United Football Club. THE CLUB IS SMOKE FREE! Founded: 1993
